You can keep your number as long as you like.
However, please be aware that if you haven't used Talkatone to call or text for a period of 30 days, your Talkatone account will be debited 30 paid credits to keep your number active.
If you haven't been active for 30 days and you have less than 30 credits on your account your number will be deactivated and returned. You'll receive an email notification before that happens. This will give you a chance to make a call or send a text to maintain the number assigned to your account.
If you want to make sure you don't lose your number, just stay active by placing outbound calls, sending text messages and/or make sure you have credits on your account. The reason we deduct credits on your account to maintain a number is because we have to pay for your number on a monthly basis.

Alternatively, Talkatone offers the Talkatone Plus subscription for $3.99 per month. This service includes a non-expiring phone number, call forwarding, bypassing daily texting limitations, advanced voicemail, and nothing else is included. Please note that the Talkatone Plus subscription is still subject to monthly text constraints. Bear in mind that transferring subscriptions is not allowed and only one subscription is allowed per account.
