Can I change my account details?

We don't offer the option of changing your account details (name, email, caller ID info,etc.). However, if you really need to, you have the option of closing your current Talkatone account, and creating a new account using a different email address. This will allow you to change the account information.

You can now close your own account by following these instructions:

1. First, go to the Talkatone app's Settings menu.
2. Scroll down to "Close Account."
3. Read the prompts and confirm that you want to close your account.

If you decide to delete your current account, please bear in mind the following:

1. You will not be able to link the same cellphone number, email address, or Facebook account that you used previously.

2. You won't be able to transfer credits, your existing phone number, subscriptions or no-ads service, if already purchased.

3. You will not be able to retrieve the messages and call records from your previous account.

4. NOTE: Once your account is closed, you won't be able to reactivate the account, access any data, or retrieve the old phone number.
